i am looking for certain beads to make xmas tree earrings?

I saw these beads sold as a set (to make 1 pair) way to expensive!! It was done with about 3- 4 stacked green beads with a gold ball on top. So the beads would have to be kinda flat and fluted. Anyone know where I cold get them??

Not sure what type of beads you're thinking of.
You're saying that one whole xmas tree earring is made from 3-4 green beads, plus one gold bead, stacked together??
If the green beads are all the same size, I'm not sure if stacking 3 of them would resemble an xmas tree... so did you mean that the green beads graduated in size from largest (on the bottom) to smallest (on the top) maybe?

Also not clear on why you said they would have to be flat and fluted.

In addition to buying beads at craft or bead stores, you can make just about any look of bead from polymer clay (including metallic), and in any size or shape, so that could be a possibility for making them yourself however you wanted.

Or perhaps you meant 3-4 *rows* of stacked beads (in which case they might be "seed beads" threaded in a tree pattern like some of these??

My cat freaks at the color blue?

I've once watched a documentary about how animals see things and they talked about a cats vision. I know they can't see red things and green is very strong to them but what about blue? My cat, Boo freaks out every now and then at anything that is blue. The bowl mat is blue and she will swap at it and become very intrested in it. Sometimes she'll grab a bunch of catfood in her mouth and drops it someplace else to eat it. She will do this to anything else that is blue. Why?

Cats are not colorblind. They see differently to us but can see color.

Blankenship went on to say that cats have at least two types of cone, and possibly three, but that the number of cones per unit area of the [cat] retina is significantly less than in the human retina, so cats probably see colors as rather pale.

Update: The veterinarians' site says that cats are weak trichromats. Feline cones peak at 450, 500 and 555

Breeding Cats for Consistent Color

In breeding cats, it should be remembered that they are carnivorous animals, and therefore it is not advisable to start breeding on such an extensive scale that it is impossible to feed them in a natural way. Breeders should limit their operations to raising a few certain colors. Cats are prolific breeders and will raise three to four families in one year if allowed to do so. If they are desired for exhibition, however, only one litter a year should be attempted. This will insure that much finer specimens will be produced and they will be less likely to contract diseases.

Breeding cats should be chosen for their pedigree and conformation.  To attain the best results, one should not cross different colors or varieties, but breed blue to blue, black to black, and so on. In striving to secure a type of cat as near perfection as possible, a certain amount of inbreeding is necessary.  This is true in breeding all animals, and although show specimens can be, and are secured without it, it will be found that the good points of parents will not be reproduced in the offspring unless inbreeding is resorted to in order to fix the type.

If one is breeding self-colors, as black, white, or blue, special attention must be paid to the soundness of the color; whites must be free from creaminess; blacks must be coal-black with no white hairs and no shading of the color toward the roots of the fur; the blue cat should be a uniform shade of blue throughout. In breeding tabbies, either the long-haired or short- haired types, the principal point is distinctness and depth of markings, with purity of ground color.

As the best known variety of tabby is the brown, this will serve to illustrate what we mean. In this variety, the ground color must be as clear a sable or tawny color as possible, not ticked with black, and the markings, to be perfect, must be a deep, dense black, not ticked with the brown of the ground color. The tabby markings should correspond on both sides of the cat, and should form distinct lines or necklaces about the throat and chest. The tail also must be tabbied.
