How do I make pearlescent chocolate?
I have molds to make small chocolate seashells with, but I want to do them in pearl colors like I saw at chocolatefantasies.com and other places. I assume they get the pink pearl by using white chocolate and food coloring. But how do they get that pearlescent look? Help! I'd like to do this for my wedding reception, which is beach themed. Thanks!

I'v been looking in my Wilton books and it's not in there but my books are old like from 2003 and thats somthing new.

Hobby Lobby may have that pearlescent.
You would brush the pearlescent on your molds .
when melting your chocolate in the microwave melt all colors separately use the pink chocolate chip( candy melts) from hobby lobby there about $3 somthing a bag
If you use almond bark for your white chocolate it's less expensive and you get more about $ 2.60 At any food store.
melt them then put a few tablespoons of each color side by side in a cup your not going to mix them, but take a toothpick and swirl them a round a bit with the toothpick, then pour it in your molds that how you get the marbleing look.
I woun't use food coloring .
food coloring has oil in it , chocolate has oil in it your guest will have pink fingers ..lol
