Unique Hoop

Are pinchers actual jewelry or are they only for stretching? Also, what is a good gauge for...?

I'm pretty sure they're called pinchers, but if not here's a picture of what I mean: http://www.painfulpleasures.com/body_jewelry/gallery/Captive_Rings/Unique/UR124_chart.jpg

I know you're not supposed to wear tapers because they'll damage your ear or something, but I'm wondering if the same is true for these.

I'm not even really going to stretch mine much, I just like how they look and like them better than the hoop I currently have in.

Also, if I ever stretched my ears, it would be like this: I saw someone with their ears stretched just a little, enough to put a hoop through the tunnel with some space left over, but not much. If you know what I'm talking about a bit, what gauge would you say that would be? I know I'm not giving a lot to go on, sorry. I'll try to find a picture but I've had no luck so far.

Pincers are jewelry, you can wear them as long as you put o rings on them and make sure that they're going through your ear at the widest part of the earring. Don't wear acrylic in newly stretched ears, you gotta stick to glass, surgical steel, niobium, or titanium for jewelry.

I have flesh tunnels in my ears right now, and they're currently at 8g. I can put earrings through them, but there's pretty much no room left over, so you might want to go for a 6g tunnel if you want to wear earrings through it.

Four Unique Styles Of Beach Chairs

Who doesn't like beach chairs for a day in the sun by the water? They keep you off of the sand or rocks, they are more comfortable than being on the ground, and they mark your spot on the beach, giving you a place to call your own, and they are portable. And though a standard beach chair works most of the time, sometimes something a little more unique is preferred or needed. Here are four style's of beach chairs that have something to set them apart from others.

  1. The Algoma company makes, not a beach chair, but a beach couch. It is called the SportCouch beach chair. Quite handy, it folds up like a regular beach chair, but sits two adults or three kids, comfortably side by side. And though it holds up to 500 lbs., it weighs less than 10 lbs. It has a sturdy aluminum frame covered with a strong weather resistant fabric, and wooden arm rests. But, that extra something that Algoma includes with their SportCouch is 2 detachable zippered pockets that hang on the back of the chair for handy storage of anything you may need for an outing: water bottles, sunscreen, keys, phones, book or magazine, etc. Besides the beach, these are really handy for sporting events, family get togethers, or a day at the park.
  2. One of the coolest beach chairs that I came across is by Natural Access, and helps bring difficult terrain to people who use wheel chairs or have difficulty navigating uneven surfaces. It is called the Natural Access Landeez All-Terrain Wheelchair. Designed for outdoor use, it gives freedom for people who use wheelchairs to explore, to enjoy days at the beach or outdoor on dirt trails. It has large, oversized all-terrain wheels that absorb the shock for a comfortable ride. The fabric is tear and water resistant so that it can get wet, allowing you to truly enjoy the water, plus it folds down and can be partially disassembled for easy transport and storage.
  3. Picnic Time makes beach chairs that are like standard, folding beach chairs, but with extra's that makes it stand apart from the competition. There are a variety of styles, wood and aluminum, and what makes them unique is the handy carrying strap, the pocket that hangs from one arm that has multiple pockets to hold water bottles, phones, books and magazines, etc. Some even have a larger, insulated pocket to keep items cold. Some styles have their own handy sun shade that attaches to the back of the chair. These chairs really are designed to make a day at the beach fun and convenient.
  4. If you want style while lounging around outside or at the beach, then check out the orbital loungers by Red Star Traders. These loungers allow you to take your zero-gravity chair with you wherever you go. The base looks really cool, it is two round hoops hooked together in the middle with the lounger suspended between them. The chair rocks back, but has stoppers so that it cannot tip back too far. What is amazing, and just by looking at the chair I am not sure how they do it, but it will collapse down to only 8 inches wide, and weighing only 15 lbs. allows you to take this chair with you anywhere.

So, don't settle for the normal, everyday chair, but go for something a bit more unique with one of the beach chairs mentioned above.
