Is it possible that I am allergic to silver?
My friend bought me a silver necklace, and every time I wear it, I get a terrible red rash where the silver pendant has been. I do not get this with any of my other jewelry, including gold. Is is possible that I am allergic to silver?
I have that problem if the jewelery is not a high silver content. It's the nickel in it that causes the allergic reaction in me. It may be the same for you.
